I am Emőke Nagy. I grew up in Egyek, a village in Hajdú-Bihar county. My first degree was in Marketing Management at the University of Horticulture, and then I graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sopron as a foreign affairs expert.

I worked in Budapest in multinational companies in HR and finance. I loved travelling, so I also passed the tour guideexam at the Kodolányi János College.
During the last years I have lived in several countries, 10 years in Greece, 2 years in Cyprus and 1,5 years in the United Arab Emirates.

Despite the medical advice that I could never have children, in 2018 I had one of the most amazing experiences in the world with the birth of my baby boy.
In 2022, I wrote my first book, Dubai Prison or a Kenyan Wedding, based on my experiences in Dubai.
2023 In the summer of 2023, I followed this up with my book, My (Nightmare) Marriage, in which I wrote honestly about the verbal abuse within my marriage.
I also wrote 3 moving guides, summarising my moving experiences to help those thinking of moving.
In the autumn of 2023, my son and I moved to the sunny Costa Blanca (Spain).
